andtheniwaskilled: zetarays: x-360: Mass Effect 3 - Take Earth Back Watching this, I’m reminded once again that the Extended Cut for Synthesis ending shows husks apparently regaining self-awareness. What the everliving fuck was BioWare thinking with that? (I know, I know. ME3 Ending=/=thinking. Bear with me.) What kind of nightmarish existence would a husk have after regaining awareness of itself? Especially for something like a brute, spliced together from several individual organisms into one monstrous one. Would it be in pain every day? Would it be able to communicate? Most of EC is a pretty big ‘fuck you’ anyway, but the idea that the Synthesis space magic plays God and allows what is essentially a robo-zombie to regain consciousness of the self is pretty nasty. I am somehow reminded of the Cyberman whose emotion inhibitor gets turned off in The Age of Steel. That’s one of the many reasons why EC for Synthesis sucks. It doesnt make any sense. ANY AT ALL.Let’s destroy everyone and deal with it.
